Since opening in 2018, Fernery has developed into one of the finest restaurants in the UK. An accomplishment recognised with the award of 4 AA Rosettes, which is something that very few restaurants achieve. Refined, elegant and romantic, dining at Fernery is a truly crafted experience. Yet despite its elevated status it remains, to a large extent, a hidden gem, nestled inside the enchanting Grove of Narberth, a magical Welsh country hotel.The name ‘Fernery’ takes inspiration from the wild ferns that grow amongst the local hedgerows and underlines a commitment to using the best local ingredients.

The aim of our brand refresh was simply to better reflect the unique qualities of the business, the people, and the location. The logotype was evolved from a typeface with bold crafted letterforms that blends modern and classic elements; with the negative spaces reflecting the natural form of fern leaves. The palette of soft, neutral colours conveys a gentle, calming, and fresh feel. To this we layered in a new photographic approach which is personal, organic and unpretentious. Carried across the website and other brand assets it all comes together to project a strong sense of self and maintain a distinctive identity.
