Who is mr.h?

It’s the one question that we’re asked more than any other, but the simple truth of the matter is, there’s no one answer.

We are privileged to work with some rather nice clients - most of whom have been with us for years - but ask them who mr.h is, and it’s unlikely you’ll hear the same response twice.

To many, mr.h is the place where their business receives the help and expertise to identify and exploit growth opportunities through everything from advertising to design and the creation of branded content. To some, mr.h is the entry point into the confusing world of digital communication - an agency that consistently delivers innovative digital display campaigns, web design and development, social media, and eCRM. To others, mr.h is their global production resource, capable of implementing campaigns across the entire world.

TREVOR HELEY

In an advertising career that has spanned more years than he would ever be prepared to disclose, Trev founded mr.h with Luis back in 2006 to focus on travel and luxury brands. On the exceptionally rare occasions when he’s not at his desk, he’ll be found waist-deep in a fishing lake. On even rarer occasions, you might even find him with a catch!

LUIS RODRIGUEZ

Bringing a distinctly Spanish flavour to the El Señor H office, Luis is responsible for overseeing both the offline and online output of the agency. Co-founding the agency with Trevor in 2006, his advertising career began at the humble age of 19. In this time, he has worked on many high-profile campaigns, most notably the government’s ‘Don’t Die Of Ignorance’ AIDs campaign of the 1980s.

Katy wears many hats. So much so, that she’s often been confused for a hatstand. An experienced account handler with a strong track record of handling complex digital marketing campaigns, her skill set also covers digital display advertising, PPC, paid search, email marketing, SEO and web development.

KRISTINA RYAN

With over a decade of global experience, Kristina started her career as an art director in the US. Since joining the ranks at mr.h, she has received a number of peer awards, and was named a Pitch 100 Superwoman in 2019. However, not even this could compensate for the disappointment of losing at the Junior Eurovision aged 13, with cult classic ‘Toy Boy’ (...no, neither have we).

The archetypal Portu-geezer, Roy is a complex fusion of Latin spice and South London grit. Just as adept at creating, designing and coding digital displays as he is editing film and video, or creating bespoke animations for outdoor displays, he has been servicing the agency with his talents as a Senior Digital Designer since 2008.

Seattle native, Jasmine is our strategy-savvy career chameleon. From account manager and webmaster to influencer negotiator, social expert, and media buyer, she takes many forms in her role as the Senior Digital Brand Manager. In 2019, she was featured in the Badass.gal x Adobe exhibit at the Twitter HQ and in 2020, Jazz was also shortlisted for The Travel Marketing Awards Rising Star from an Agency!

Winston has been a fixture at mr.h since time immemorial - just don’t remind him of that. Working in both traditional and digital media, his design expertise covers the length and breadth of the agency’s output, including everything from artworking for print and outdoor campaigns, to website and exhibition stand design.

Kristina brings an academic background to mr.h following her Master's degree in Luxury Brand Management from Goldsmiths. Supporting all aspects of digital marketing from researching and creating strategic content plans to copywriting and graphic design, her dynamic capabilities, and team player attitude landed her too on Badass.Gal, showcasing high-achieving women in creative and entrepreneurial industries.

After earning a degree in illustration from the University of Brighton, Erica joined placements at Proximity, ELVIS and MRM McCann, and has even won a DMA award. Today, she's collaborating alongside creative partner Hal on mr.h client projects, from high-end couture to travel creative for UK tourism boards in almost every format imaginable.

After studying both film at Norwich University of the Arts, specialising in directing and production design, as well as earning an MA in Creative Advertising at Falmouth for copywriting, Hal paired up with Erica as a dynamic team supporting new and existing client projects. From luxury fashion to local and national travel creative across a number of formats, the team is agile and excited to get stuck in.

Our social media specialist, George offers more than a decade of industry experience. Starting at Ogilvy & Mather, he led social strategy on accounts such as Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs. For the latter, he collected a Grand CLIO for the world’s first campaign led by ‘social currency’, tapping into what was - at the time - the burgeoning influencer market.

Abie looks after our backend stuff - which is all the stuff that none of the rest of us can understand (not much anyway). We all think he’s a genius. Perhaps it’s because he speaks a language that most of us can’t understand either, but if you have a technical problem he can solve it. CMS build, ecommerce, eCRM integrations, site security, custom coding, Abie is our man.
